PROJECT
Gas for Africa is an initiative dedicated to unlocking the continent’s natural gas potential by making data accessible and fostering meaningful partnerships across sectors. Roselab is their design and strategy partner, working closely with the team to shape a digital platform that supports their mission and long-term growth.
As a starting point, we led a strategic workshop designed to align key stakeholders around a shared vision, clarify business goals, and lay the groundwork for a cohesive platform. The outcome of this session was a structured report that continues to guide the project, framing its positioning, core value proposition, and user engagement strategy across all design and marketing efforts.
Our design and development work includes a fully custom website with dynamic country profiles, each highlighting infrastructure data, gas policies, and local investment opportunities. These profiles are managed through a CMS designed for scalability and internal efficiency.
One of the most powerful features of the platform is the Gas for Africa Interactive Map, a custom tool built with React and Leaflet. It enables users to explore gas infrastructure assets at multiple zoom levels, with filterable data, structured modals, and real-time updates managed via CMS. This tool turns complex data into an intuitive visual experience that supports strategic decision-making for high-level stakeholders.
To support outreach and engagement, we developed a content strategy that includes a blog, gated downloads, and lead capture flows. Reports, maps, and key resources are available through forms that help the Gas for Africa team collect and organize stakeholder data, enabling better communication and sustained relationships.
Throughout this partnership, Roselab remains embedded in the evolution of Gas for Africa—providing ongoing UX, content, and marketing support to help the initiative scale. Together, we’re building a platform that goes beyond information: it empowers collaboration, accelerates investment, and helps shape the future of Africa’s energy transition.
